The reason for the marble dropping sound at night is becoz of the water pipes located very near to the cement surface or something. Thus, when someone in your apartment turns on the water tap, the gushing pressure from the tank will make the pipe hit the wall vigourously producing the "Marble Sound" you have described. The sound normally only occur once per night because when temperature become colder, the empty pipe create a vacuum and the water gush in very quickly to cause the marble sound, but once the water got in, it stablise the pressure, thus the marble sound only occur once... this only occur in old hdb flat... newer one no longer like tat...

if money really drop dwn from the sky.. den everybody will be rich.. den nobody want to wrk.. den ppl will be hungry.. no food to eat.. so ppl will exchange prada or burberry bag for 1 kg of rice or 100kg of beef or chicken for a mansion.. den the richest persons on earth will be the farmers cuz they gt more food to exchange.. den the whole cycle will change.. the poorer will become richer and the rich will become poorer.. den the accountants will be employed to count food - which classification of food is more valuable.. eg. non perishables will be more valuable.. cuz can store longer.. balance sheet will be based on the kg of food collected.. den the price tags for a laptop will be 10kg beef..
